Why can't we have breakfast delivery, like pizza delivery?

When I get up in the morning, I often skip breakfast because I so busy getting ready for work. Other than the option of staying at a hotel everynight, why can't I get breakfast delivered to my doorstep like the newspaper?Why can't we have breakfast delivery, like pizza delivery?
That's a good idea but there are at least two reasons why this isn't practical. Most often delivery is pizza or chinese food, and the order is usually over $15 to make it worthwhile, which is why you don't see places delivering a hamburger or a sandwich, a $5 order is not worth their while for them to subsidize the delivery cost, or you'd pay more to have the item delivered than it's worth. Maybe if three or four people ordered enough food it might come to $20 and make it worthwhile. Second is keeping the items hot and fresh, eggs and pancakes tend to go rubbery, go to a breakfast buffet, and compare that to made to order. Probably if you bought some microwave breakfasts the quality would be simular and just as fast (plus way cheaper).

Well you can get milk and eggs delivered, so if you get that arranged, you're half way there!!! Also, I'm pretty sure tescos direct will deliver cereal and bread at any time.

I think there should be breakfast delivery.

I'm pretty sure if somebody were to come up with that, they'll make money because working people won't just get coffee from Starbucks and settle for that till lunch time.

I dont know what area of the world you are living in, but there are defintiely certain deli's that will gladly do this. One that comes to mind immediately is one called Jason's Deli.

I used to live in Houston and the one around there delivered as early as 6 am within a reasonable distance of course.

Look for a Jason's Deli near you. Thats the only one i know of, but im sure there will be other chains doing similiar things.
you just thought of a new type of restaurant. you could be rich. i don't even get pizza delivery in hick vill.
it is not the same for all the areas .in our city we often get it done.
Depends on where you are. Where I am people often order breakfast delivered to their desks at work. Local shops will deliver the breakfasts.

I hear what you're saying, though. Maybe you're just the person to start up that business where you are! "Home-cooked breakfast meals delivered to your home." Hey, why not? How do you think these other people got started!
