Martha's Fruit Pizza

1 roll Pillsbury slice and bake sugar cookies

8 oz. cream cheese

1 tsp. vanilla

1/2 cup sugar

bananas, sliced

strawberries

white seedless grapes

crushed pineapple, drained

Glaze:

1 cup sugar

3 Tblsp. cornstarch

dash of salt

3/4 cup water

1 cup orange juice

1/4 cup lemon juice

Use pizza pan and preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut cookies 1/8 inch thin and spread close together over pizza pan. Bake 8 to 10 minutes. Let cool. Mix cheese, vanilla and sugar and spread over cooled cookie. Arrange fresh fruit on cream cheese mixture. Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt; add water, orange juice and lemon juice in saucepan. Bring to a boil; cook 1 minute until slightly thickened. Cool. Pour over fruit and place in refrigerator until ready to serve.

Fruit Pizza

Ingredients Crust:

1-1/2 cups flour

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 Tablespoons sugar

2 Tablespoons milk

1/2 cup oil (canola, safflower, or light)

Filling:

8 ounces cream cheese

1/4 cup sugar

1 Tablespoon milk

1/2 Tablespoons orange rind

1/2 Tablespoon lemon rind

1 pint whipping cream

Fruit:

Strawberries, bananas, kiwis, peaches, tangerines, nectarines, blueberries, raspberries, canteloupe (use any combination of fruit you prefer)

Glaze:

2 Tablespoons corn starch

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 cup orange juice

1/4 cup lemon juice

1/4 cup water

Crust: Mix all ingredients by hand or with a pastry blender. Spread evenly onto an ungreased pan. Bake 15 minutes at 375 degrees until it is a deep golden brown. This crust must be completely cooled before filling.

Filling: Whip cream cheese in a food processor until it is fluffy and has no lumps. Add the rest of the ingredients except for the cream and process until it is well blended. Add the cream and whip until it is thick. Spread the mixture evenly on cooled crust.

Fruit: You may slice fruit and lay it on top of the filling decoratively, or chop it and sprinkle on top for that "pizza supreme" look.

Glaze: Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Once it is boiling, stir for 1 minute or until mixture looks clear. Remove from heat and spoon evenly over fruit.

Note: This recipe is for a 12-inch tart pan or pizza pan. For a 14-inch pan, use 1-1/2 times the crust and the filling recipes, but use the single glaze recipe. For a 16-inch pan, double the recipes for crust and filling, but use 1-1/2 times the glaze.I'm looking for a fruit pizza to serve at breakfast. Anyone have a favourite to share?

Fruit Pizza

California style fruit tart, simple and yummy! and it taste good too.

INGREDIENTS:

1 sheet puff pastry

1/2 cup blackberries, thinly sliced

1/2 cup raspberries

1/2 papaya, thinly sliced

2 figs, thinly sliced

1 kiwi, peeled and thinly sliced

1 tablespoon Grand Marnier liqueur

1/4 cup sugar

Slice the strawberries, figs, papaya, and kiwis and set aside. Cut out 2 circles of puff pastry. One of the circles is solid and the other a ring. Place the ring on top of the solid piece; this becomes your crust. Poke holes in bottom using a fork. (This keeps bubbles from forming.) Sprinkle with sugar.

Pur茅e the raspberries with the Grand Marnier. Next, pur茅e the blackberries and sweeten with sugar if necessary. Simmer both sauces separately until they thicken. Set aside to cool.

To assemble pizza, place the raspberry sauce in center of the pizza and spread evenly. Top with the kiwi, strawberries, figs, raspberries and papaya. Arrange in a spiral design. Place the pizza on a cookie sheet in the center of the oven. Bake in a 400潞 oven for 12 minutes.

Cut into quarters and drizzle the blackberry pur茅e over the top. Serve warm.
I just order a cheese pizza and slice the fruit up and put it in the top of the pizza. Add cream cheese.

Since I don't like to eat cookie with fruit on top for breakfast I like to make mine with the cresant rolls. I unroll them and put them all together to form a round on your cookie sheet or pizza pan and cook until done and then cool. Once cooled you can make a mixture with cream cheese and powdered sugar with a little tiny bit of milk and spread that evenly over the top. Top with you favorites fruits. I like kiwi and strawberries, but use whatever you enjoy and is in season. You can top with chocolate, crushed nuts, or a glaze of powdered sugar and milk. YUMMY!!
