Do you like chicken broth at breakfast?

(Something light from a recent stay in a hospital. Apparently they think it's ok to serve a mainstay at breakfast! lol)





Chicken Broth





Mom鈥檚 elixir, the wonder drug indeed


Served with love, served with care


But served at Breakfast? Get out of here!


I may be dying, I may be cranky


I may even be without an appetite


But if the Doctor鈥檚 orders are liquid foods


Don鈥檛 start breakfast with chicken broth!


Pizza鈥aybe!|||I know it seems unreasonable and quite the crock


to be served warm morning time chicken broth is a shock


when you were deep asleep they twisted your hospital frock


it somehow inverted your biorhythm clock





P.S. The hospital's right


its not day ... its night|||well i just think that your crazy. eating chicken broth at breakfast is a family tradition.

morning, especially if he had a hang over.





In hospital of use to be they used those bullion cubes which tasted like


salt water, always nice to get home and raid the ice box. (frig)|||I'm from a small town and it is known that there is a bottle or two of gin in behind the nurse's desk. They will dole it out to patients they think will not get to unruly. Their pizza is horrible though.

You'd think they'd give you Jell-O or fruit juice, huh? Go figure...





I for one would drink it. When I was a kid I used to snitch my mom's Wyler's chicken broth cubes and suck on them like candy! Salt freak? Me? I don't know what you're talking about! LOL|||Yup ...Chicken soup for the soul ....Jewish Penicillin...I'd drink it ... it's probably a $35.00 bowl of broth !!|||why are you complaining...it could have been lime jello! that'a what I was served my last stay. I would have killed for chicken broth!!!|||One good way of looking at it is,you know they didn't take out your apathy.It is still in tack.Still have your sense of humor, now if you were missing that, you would have something to be cranky about.As for the chicken broth, better than cabbage soup.
