Hi Any ideas for breakfast style pizzas? what topping would you recommend?

Don't know how 'pizza' it is, but toast a couple of English muffins, then put ham or sausage, scrambled eggs, and cheese on them and run them under the broiler until the cheese melts. Serve with sliced tomatoes.|||1 (13.8 ounce) package refrigerated pizza crust dough

Spread the shredded hashbrown mixture evenly on the pan, but make the edges slightly higher for the "crust". Bake the shredded hashbrown mixture on the pizza tray in the oven for 20 minutes. While the crust is baking, crack the remaining eggs into a bowl and whisk it together with the 1/2 cup of milk and a little more salt and pepper to taste. When the crust has baked for 20 minutes, remove it from the oven and pour the egg mixture onto the hashbrowns. Cover it evenly. Next, scatter the bacon, green peppers, tomatoes, ham, and green onions around the crust. Top the "pizza" with the shredded cheese. Return the pan to the oven and bake for 10 more minutes. On a pizza pan spread:

1 tube crescent rolls, to form 1 crust

1 lb. package thawed frozen hash browns

1/2 lb. sausage, browned

1 cup cheddar cheese grated

4 eggs beaten well with a little milk and salt and pepper

On top of crust place hash browns crumbles up, spread sausage next. Make sure that both go to the edges of crust. Slowly pour eggs over top of hash browns. Then sprinkle on the cheese all over the top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes. Cut in pizza slices and serve with fruit and juice.

BREAKFAST PIZZA

2 c. Bisquick

1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese

2 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 c. cold water

1/8 tsp. pepper

1/2 tsp. salt

2 tbsp. milk

3 eggs

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Brown sausage and drain. Combine Bisquick with water to form a soft dough. Pat onto a 12 inch pizza pan. Spoon sausage over crust; put hash browns over sausage followed by Cheddar cheese. This much can be prepared the night before.

BREAKFAST PIZZA

If you have trouble getting your kids to stop long enough for breakfast, try this one. We also make a version with turkey sausage and Scramblers for a low-cholesterol version:

Biscuit mix to make 8 to 10 biscuits

3 eggs

Pinch of cornstarch

8 oz. frozen hash brown potatoes (thawed)

6 sliced bacon

4 oz. cheddar cheese

4 oz. fresh mushrooms

1 oz. chopped onion

1/4 tsp. fresh ground peppercorns

1/4 tsp. Mrs. Dash seasoning

Mix a cup of biscuit mix using the directions on the package. Use refrigerator biscuits if you are in a hurry. Roll the biscuit dough flat to fit a 14 inch pizza pan. Be sure to form an edge all the way around, or the eggs will run out as the dough rises!

Brown the bacon slightly and cut into short lengths. Slice the mushrooms and saute them and the onion lightly in butter.

Warm the hash browns in an oven or microwave and spread then over the biscuit dough. You can make your own, but the frozen variety don't stick together as much.

Shred the cheese. Now spread the cheese, the pepper and the seasoning over the hash browns. Next, add the bacon and the mushrooms.

Add a pinch of cornstarch to the eggs and beat them for a minute to stiffen them and pour the eggs over the rest of the pizza.

Place the pizza in a 400 degree preheated oven for 12 minutes or until golden brown. Be sure to use a shallow pan or make one from aluminum foil to catch any egg that runs over unless you just like to clean the oven! After a few tries you get a feel for how to best make the edge of the pizza.

I like biscuit dough for the crust. Just roll out a single batch to the size of your pizza pan. Personally I like the cakey ones. Bake halfway then add toppings. I have also used regular pizza crust.

I use prepared country gravy instead of pizza sauce.|||I ate pizza a few years ago that had fruit on it instead of sauce, vegetables and meat.
