I am outraged at Special K sponsorship. What would you rather have for breakfast? Special K or Pizza?

I am completely outraged at the marketing of Special K as a fitness and weightloss product. And women love it! They eat it by the tons!

My problem is the following:

354 calories per 100 grams, no protein, no fiber, what it DOES have is sugar! 29%! That's three times as much as soda, and 4% more than chocolate!

So what would you rather eat for breakfast? The above? Or pizza, which is almost the same amount of calories, but full of vitamins, minerals and protein?I am outraged at Special K sponsorship. What would you rather have for breakfast? Special K or Pizza?
you are - of course - right concerning your opinion about special k (or any other common cerial for that matter) as a healthy breakfast. i just think it's a waste of energy to be outraged about it. pretty much anything you can hear, see and read in commercials and advertising is about this level of outrageous. they are not producing these to inform people, they are producing them to sell a product! it's the job of each and every one of us to educate ourselves and make decisions concerning our health and well being based on those informations - and never on commercials, infomercials...... i think, there's no excuse for a literate person to believe in a commercial these days. there's enough information about a healthy living out there to realize that cereals are not an important part of it.

so, as said above: i totally agree with you on your opinion about the cereal, but don't blame kellogs for something every other company trying to sell a product is doing as well.
I agree. I almost puked when I saw that McDonalds was sponsoring the athletes in the olympics. WTF??I am outraged at Special K sponsorship. What would you rather have for breakfast? Special K or Pizza?
good point....this is why i stick to plain old oatmeal every morning.
Honestly Pizza would better and you could burn it off from the rest of the day...
