Mommies..have you ever ate a whole pizza to your self in one day?

I was passed out before my husband got home last night and I guess he came home with a pizza for me because he left it in the fridge (he doesn't like pizza)...anyways, I had some for breakfast, lunch, and now I just FINISHED it for dinner! Im not sure if it was a lg or medium! Mommies what is the worst day of food you've ever had? Can you too down a whole pizza?|||Yes! Little Ceaser's cheese pizza with green peppers %26amp; onions... I dip each slice into spicy ranch. Sooo good!|||I can down a whole pizza and then some. But my husband usually tells me its time to "close the box..". What's my worst day of food? Well i'm breastfeeding, so most days i try to eat a healthy balanced diet, but then i have weird days (I blame my hormones) where i eat nothing but fruit jellies, toast, chocolate and tortilla chips.|||Not really into to pizza that much, but last week I ate a whole bag of those Cadbury Mini Eggs. Not one of the small ones, but one of the family size. The worst thing I can do it leave candy next to where I make my daughters bottles, or in the living room. I couldn't believe it when I got down to the bottom of the bag!!|||Oh gosh...that sounds like something I would totally do...LOL.



I am also 11.5 weeks pregnant, so when I got a craving, I gotta eat it! Yesterday I ate an entire cantaloupe and container of strawberries. Wasn't really bad for me, but my stomach sure hurt afterwards...LOL. And then there's the cereal box of Coco Puffs in the trashcan that I finished off in like a day and a half.....sigh.|||Heck yeah! Years ago (when I was single,lol) Pizza hut had an offer of 3 large pizzas for $5 a piece.

I ate pizza for breakfast lunch and dinner. Suprisingly it saved alot of money! I swear I lived off pizza for a week straight.|||Yes, I can very easily eat a whole pizza in one day (through out the course of the day of course)! I love pizza! My fav is pepperoni, onion, mushroom, and green peppers! Yum yum!|||Yes, When I was pregnant with the twins I eat a whole pizza (large) to myself. I can't belive I did|||i used to run 3 miles a day and sometimes would eat a large pizza to myself in one sitting. i feel gross after eating a whole tub of ice cream though...yuck|||i haven't, but i just made pita chips and ate almost all of them--that's like 8 pitas! damn carbs! haagan daz strawberry ice cream is disgustingly addicting as well.|||I've done that before. Pizza all day long. I love eating it. I only indulge myself about once a year so it's not a big deal.|||sure can....in one sitting...LOL my weakness is pasta though and garlic bread i have a whole stick lmao! and i moan about my bum:)))|||I just did this yesterday. lol I ate a whole large pizza throughout the day. Probably not too healthy but it was good! lol|||That doesn't seem that bad. You did take all day to eat it!     I eat pizza at least every other morning for breakfast because I love it! But is that unhealthy for me?|||One piece of standard domino's cheese pizza has 19% of your daily saturated (BAD) fat and 21% of your sodium (salt).





    This isn't a problem if you eat fairly balanced meals the rest of the day, however most of us eat a SAD (standard American diet) which is full of saturated fat and sodium.





    Pizza crust is also a refined (bad) carbohydrate.





    All of these COULD lead to extra weight ,heart disease and diabetes if not eaten within a balanced diet.





    BUT if you make homemade pizza with wholegrain crust, reduced fat cheese and loads of veggies you can have your favorite food without the guilt.





    Its all about making educated choices when it comes to food, grab a book or magazine on natural health and your on your way.

    Cheese has saturated fats; sauce has corn syrup and the crust has a lot of carbs. But if made at home, you can eliminate all this bad stuff.|||Depends on what your toppings are on your pizza. If you use a low fat cheese, grilled vegetables and herbs, then you have no problem. If you eat your pizza for breakfast, try topping it with a low fat cheese, fried eggs, asparagus, grilled peppers etc. The more fat you add to yoru pizza, the more its not good for you|||It probably is. First of all don't eat at breakfast please, and if you want to eat it everyday you should at least make sure it's a good quality pizza. You know a lot of the things that are considered as junk food are only so because of the way the industries make it. If you take a pizza recepy and do it yourself (it's really not difficult) it will not only taste better but you'll be assuring yourself you won't be eating all the sh and calories that is put on the ones you unfreeze.


    Still you can do it anyways, just try to balance on other things like drinking water and tea, walking, etc.|||my old health teacher used to tell us that pizza in general is very good for you when eaten in moderation. think about it! pizza has one of each of the four food groups.|||depends of the amount, depends on the type but don't it too much|||congratulations!you are eating breakfast. try to make the pizza your self so you can cut back on the fat . you can use turkey sausage, bbq chix, lots of veggies.Portobella mushrooms make a good meat substitute.try some of the lower fat cheeses like parmesan or swiss.alot of places are also making whole wheat crusts|||its healthy just what u put on it changes the whole pictures

    regular crust 4 cheese or more cheese or go a meat lovers with pepperoni ham meat balls sausage then not so healthy


    or go cheese steak pizza or buffalo pizza not so healthy





    just choose tons of veggies light on cheese and sauce and ur good|||Personally I don't see an issue with it. As long as its not covered in meat or something like that. Just make sure you're getting decent food in for the rest of the day. When I make my own I substitute tomatoes for the sauce, that way I know exactly what's in it and it cuts out alot of unnecessary sugar and calories (just layer on thinly sliced tomatoes right where you'd usually put sauce on the dough).|||Not really.BUT, it also depends what you put on it=]

    What are "pizza eggs"?

    I was watching a tv show where the parents made "pizza eggs" for breakfast on special occasions. It involved leftover pizza somehow.

    don't be scared! these are actually pretty darn good. I wish I could take the credit, but this is something my dear old dad came up with. DH and I refused to even THINK about trying them for years, but once we did......we wondered what took us so long!

    25 min 20 min prep


    2 slices leftover cold frozen pizza


    8-10 eggs


    parmesan cheese or mozzarella cheese





    Cut the pizza into small, bite-size pieces.


    Break and scramble the eggs into a large bowl, beating well.


    Add the pizza bits, stiring to make sure all the pizza is covered.


    Let sit for 10-15 minutes.


    After sitting, stir again and scramble in a large frying pan that has been sprayed with Pam.


    Top with parmesean or mozzerella cheese.

    2 pkg. oven ready biscuits


    1 reg. size breakfast sausage


    1 sm. green pepper, chopped


    1 sm. onion, chopped


    5 lg. eggs, slightly beaten


    3/4 c. milk


    Shredded cheddar cheese





    In 9 x 12 inch baking pan spread rolls. All rolls should be pressed together and cover the bottom of pan. Cook sausage and drain grease. Spread sausage, chopped green pepper and onion on top of rolls. Mix 5 eggs and 3/4 cup milk together then pour evenly over top of rolls. Sprinkle grated cheese over top. Bake 350 degrees 30 to 40 minutes. Let cool for 5 minutes, cut and serve. Note: Substitute sausage with bacon. Add a sixth egg if you want|||yuch|||no clue.

    I ate a lot for breakfast and lunch so what should I have for dinner?

    breakfast: two pieces of cinnamon raisin toast with 2bsp of peanut butter


    snack ish in the middle: an english muffin with a baked egg and ham, and hashbrowns with ketchup


    lunch: two pieces of pizza from costco, and some(like 6) fries with ketchup.

    How important is diet when it comes to increasing strength?

    Today I ate coco pops for breakfast, pizza for lunch and a burger and fries for dinner and my friend reckons its an atrocious diet which will not only compromise health and mental clarity in the long run, but will also greatly reduce potential gains in strength at gym.





    Do you think he's right? I've been training for two weak and I don't feel weak.|||yes hes right. Diet is huge. It lean proteins and eat 4-6 times a day. Dont eat shitty food. Its bad for you overall so why do it?|||Absolutely - there is very little protein or nutrients in your diet - your muscles need fuel to gain strength. You might not feel weak now but you'll struggle to push into heavier weights at the gym (if your diet is right then you should increase your weights by about 10% a week) and also you'll struggle with your recovery so you'll be a lot more stiff and sore the next day. To really gain strength you need to eat 5 small meals/day and cut out all that fatty rubbish - you should be eating things like grilled chicken salad not a burger and fries! Why not as a trainer at the gym for a diet plan? Good luck with your training xxx|||I get sick every time I eat junk food you know that? Even ONE little piece of junk food can make feel sick.



    I would avoid foods like pastas, whole wheat bread, grains, white flour, white rice, soy beans, soy products, soda, candy, chocolate, refined sugar, ketchup, fries, jelly, jello, peanuts, peanut butter, sauce, dressings, popsicles, fruit roll ups, pizza, all fast food restaurants, cheese, hot dogs, eggs, pasteurized milk, cereal, muffins, cookies, pastries.|||Hey, yes your friend is right. Diet is just as important as the exercise. The junk you ate today is okay in moderation, but definitely not for regular consumption.





    The key to gaining strength is plenty of protein (lean meats, like chicken and fish (avoid beef, lamb etc.) and foods such as eggs and beans/lentils). It's best to eat these AFTER working out as it will help the muscles recover from working out.





    Before a workout eat some healthy carbohydrates, not too much, enough to keep you going. Plenty of fruits and veggies is a must too. Don't forget the water, 2 liters a day!|||im not really into this stuff but to my knowledge this kind of food can seriously undermine your health and indeed you might not feel it at once but..., before i went on diet id been eating this kind of food as well and then I had troubles and i see the only way to regain my health, the key word is "diet".

    i mean if you keep eating food like this then sooner or later it will harm your health and you just wont be able to continue your trainings.

    Why is breakfast food considered breakfast food?

    Who decided that eggs, bacon, hash browns, cereal, pancakes, waffles, french toast, etc is breakfast food(traditionally). Why? Why is there even a designation between the types of food we eat at different meal times? Why isn't pizza or mashed potatoes %26amp; gravy a typical breakfast food?|||Most breakfast foods are relatively quick to prepare, which makes them more convenient early in the morning when you have other places to go.





    And now that they've become traditional, that just reinforces the notion that they are breakfast foods.|||All those foods are high in nutrients that help you get through the day with enough energy. Foods like bacon, eggs, and sausage are considered "filling foods" meaning they make your stomach feel full, enabling people to go most of the day without another large meal. Why people eat particular foods and not others is just customary. I know with typical Japanese breakfast they do not eat very bony fish in the morning because it takes too much time to pick out the bones so they eat bony fish for dinner and less bony fish in the morning. I don't think it matters what type of food you eat for breakfast honestly. I guess it really depends on you and your lifestyle. As a person who jogs in the evening regularly, I need to make sure that I eat a breakfast high in carbohydrates so that by the evening, I have already digested the nutrients and my body can use them as fuel for my workouts in the form of glucose (carbs turn into glucose which is then burned for energy). If I didn't eat foods like pancakes, rice, or toast for breakfast I'd have less energy for if I decide to work late, jog, or pretty much anything: playing with my kids, doing household chores, sex, etc. This is why breakfast is considered the most important meal of the day!|||thatz heavy food u usually eat light food for breakfast sumtimes a fry up.

    Can I eat ANYTHING for breakfast n lose weight?

    My wife says that a dietician at her job told her that as long as a person eats 2 hours within waking up they can eat anything for breakfast and still be on the road to losing weight as long as there other meals are healthy,,,,Is there any truth in this?


    I just dont see myself eating pizza or fried catfish in the morning and I dont believe it.And just because you can do it doesnt mean it's okay for everyone to do.But what are your thoughts?|||if you want to lose weight you have to know what makes your body with fat..



    eating more calories than you burn makes you fat..



    eating food that have fat on them...



    ....do you know that eating eggs you will not gain fat?...eggs have 0% fat..only when you boil them...



    i try to eat clean foods to gain muscle and lose fat to build muscles...



    eating even 10 eggs a day will give protein and calories but not fat...



    something that helps is stop eating junk foods..not even once..stop fried foods..|||Not more than you can burn in a day, of course, but it's true that you can eat very much without gaining anything. Breakfast is the biggest meal of the day after all. It's not healthy to eat a pizza for breakfast, something that makes the metabolism going is much better.|||I have heard of this also. It is being promoted across the web by a fat lose "guru" The theory being digestion plus daily activity will burn off the breakfast in a sense making it a zero calorie meal. Does it work? It could, but one would still need to be aware of the daily activity and food intact. So it still takes some thinking, not a free meal! So to speak:)|||If you want to lose weight you should:


    1- make vegetables your main food, and eat fruits in moderation. STAY AWAY from processed food; no matter how healthy they make it seem, it normally isn't. All they care about is money and not ur health.


    2- eat whole wheat bread. It doesn't turn into sugar like white bread and it makes u feel full 4 longer time. Also, u should eat wholegrain cereals.


    3- get fit: exercising will turn your body into a well- toned body. You HAVE TO exercise.





    I cant stress enough how important exercise and food habits are in losing weight. And you shouldn't think of this as a temporary change in lifestyle, because it needs to be a life- long one in order for it to be effective.


    And dont be fooled into following crazy diets. The only diet that works is a healthy diet, which - i repeat- lasts a lifetime.





    4- chew your food slowly, because this allows your mind to recieve the "i'm full" signal as fast as possible. Also, studies have proven that overweight indivisuals recieve that signal slower than indivisuals with normal weight. I'm living proof of that.

    keep in mind that muscle weighs more than fat, so as your body is steadily getting more fit, it will have more muscle than fat, and you might not notice a dramatic decrease in weight, but ur body will defienatly look thinner. So don't get discourages if u dont have a dramatic decrease in weight.

    It sounds kind of disgusting... At ten, a child would need to eat a more complex breakfast. Pizza isn't the best option. At ten, you'd still be growing. I ate plenty and have always been normal for weight although I stopped growing at eleven. At sixteen, I'm a smidge under 4'10 1/2" and the shortest in my family.
    Pizza is not an issue for breakfast, as long as it's not all the time. However, I wouldn't think that a 10 year old would need a cup of tea. A glass of milk alone would do or just some water. Caffeine at that age is not necessary.

    It is never healthy to skip breakfast. Get up earlier if you have to. Have healthy things ready that you can grab as you run out the door if you must leave without eating. Almonds and trail mixes are a great way to eat on the run. DO NOT eat left over pizza and burger. they are just full of fat and carbs that will make you crash after as you have noticed.

    Keep fruit handy and keep extra almonds and other nuts in your back pack for those quick pick me up during the day...

    Make a healthly breakfast the night before and heat it up in the microwave in the morning.

Milk contains protein which is essential for your muscles to repair after exercise routines and even after everyday household jobs.

    Lunch - palm sized chicken breast or 2 eggs with 1 steamed potato ( boiled will do the thing too) and a handful of vegetables.     No food until 5pm



    At 5 P.M. I had About 5 stawberries..

    no you are going to freak out your body. and end up gaining weight because your body will hold on to everything because it does not know what to expect. You need to have 5-6 small meals. Breakfast is most important. Look for a food pyramid on line to get serving sizes. The way you ate that day is not healthy. You need veggies, fruits, grains, and meat along with a multivitamin.
    Well, you won't actually wake up skinnier, just like if you eat and eat and eat all day you won't wake up fatter, just feel really full.



    You seem to do a lot of eating in the early morning, try to eat little meals throughout the day, you'll be less likley to be hungary.



    Instead of getting Ice cream, try frozen yougurt with fruit, just as yummy but healthier, and I don't think pizza's really that good for breakfast...

    You aren't going to wake up skinnier. You never will, if this is your diet. You need to be eating when you're hungry, just not pizza and McDonald's. They're full of fat and calories. You should eat fat free yogurt with granola and a banana for breakfast, strawberries for a snack, eat a salad for lunch, sunflower seeds for a snack, then a dinner like a small serving of chicken breast, a small potato, and green beans. Try to walk/jog at least a mile daily. Then you'll start seeing results. Drink a SMALL glass of 100% juice with breakfast, water with lunch, and a small glass of skim milk with dinner. Good Luck :]]
    Well i think you may be going about this the wrong way :) Loosing weight is a lifestyle change, you have to eat regularly to stay healthy and get your proper vitamins and such. But crappy food does nothing for you, but make you feel full and gain weight. The chicken and cantaloupe are great... strawberries too.. but the rest is crap! If your serious, find a diet plan you can live with and stick to it. It takes time and a hell of a lot of effort.. good luck!
    No, you have had a wierd diet of high cal/carbs, and low cal/carbs.



    Starvation diets, like not eating inbetween 8-5, do not work. starvation causes your body to retain more sugars and fat from what you eat. Try eating a more balanced, smaller meal 3x a day, with 2 healthy snacks in between(like the 5 strawberries)

    PIZZA UNOS DEEP PAN CHICAGO STYLE PIZZA

    FOR THE CRUST:

    1 cup warm tap water (110-115 degrees f)

    1 pkg active dry yeast

    3 1/2 cups flour, divided use

    1/2 cup coarse ground cornmeal

    1 tsp salt

    1/4 cup vegetable oil

    FOR THE FILLING:

    1 lb sausage, removed from the casing and crumbled

    1 lb mozzarella cheese, sliced

    2 garlic cloves, minced

    1 (28 oz) can whole tomatoes, drained and coarsely crushed

    3 tsp dried oregano (or 5 fresh basil leaves, shredded

    4 tbsp freshly grated parmesan



    TO PREPARE THE CRUST:

    Pour the warm water into a large mixing bowl and dissolve the yeast with a fork. Add 1 cup of flour, all of the cornmeal, salt, and, and vegetable oil. Mix well with a spoon. Continue stirring in the rest of the flour 1/2 cup at a time, until the dough comes away from the sides of the bowl.



    Flour your hands and the work surface and knead the ball of dough until it is no longer sticky.



    Let the dough rise in an oiled bowl, sealed with plastic wrap, for 45 to 60 minutes in a warm place, until it is doubled in bulk.



    Punch dough down and knead it briefly. Press it into an oiled 15-inch deep dish pizza pan, until it comes 2 inches up the sides and is even on the bottom of the pan. Let the dough rise 15-20 minutes before filling.



    Preheat the oven to 500 degrees.



    TO PREPARE THE FILLING:

    While the dough is rising, prepare the filling ingredients. Cook the crumbled sausage until it is no longer pink, drain it of its excess fat; set aside.



    TO ASSEMBLE AND BAKE:

    When the dough has finished its second rising, lay the mozzarella cheese over the dough shell. Then distribute the sausage and garlic over the cheese. Top with the tomatoes. Sprinkle on the seasonings and parmesan cheese.



    Bake for 15 minutes at 500 degrees.



    Then lower the oven temperature to 400 degrees and bake for 25 to 35 minutes longer. Lift up a section of the crust from time to time with a spatula to check on its color. The crust will be golden brown when done. Serve immediately.

    Doing anything ONCE, and not making a habit out of it, is not going to affect your diet much one way or the other.

    I'm really bad at waking up for school so I always have to skip breakfast. Because of this, I always buy bread and butter for break and exactly the same for lunch plus a biscuit. For teaI I usually have a small portion of pasta or a few slices of pizza.



    What can I have instead of all this to eat healthily?What would be a healthy breakfast, lunch and tea?
    For breakfast I always have oatmeal with a handful of raisins, a bit of honey and a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice.



    Here are a few ideas:

    *1 egg on whole-grain toast

    *fruit and youghurt topped with some granola or chopped nuts

    *muesli with fruit like strawberries, bananas ect..

    *oatmeal (verry gd for you) made with water with a hanful of raisins or banana, blueberries or raspberries..its up to u.

    *whole grain cereal like all bran or bran flakes with fruit (banana really goes well)

    *rice cakes with peanut butter topped with fruit of your choice on top.

    *fruit salad, you could even put some lemon juice and cinnamon on the fruit to give it more of an axotic taste.

    *fruit smoothie (just blend any fruit of your choice strawberry and banana go really well, along with some low fat youghurt and some honey to sweeten)

    *whole-wheat english muffin with low-fat cottage cheese and some lettuce and tomatoe on top.

    *2 wholegrain toast with peanut butter and chopped banana

    All these healthy breakfasts could also be accompanied by a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice or black coffee to start the day!



    For lunch having something like:

    *a chicken or tuna salad

    *a whole-grain sandwhich with cottage cheese,tomato, cucumber, salad and maybe a some low-fat turkey ham OR you could even have a tuna sanwhich

    *an avacado and bean salad

    *whole-wheat chicken wrap

    *home-made vegetable soup with 1 wholemeal roll

    *couscous mixed with chopped cherry tomatoes, cucumbr, red onion and strips of grilled chicken

    *jacket potatoe topped with prawns mixed with loow-fat natural cottage cheese, freshly chopped herbs and a squeeze of lemon, served with a mixed salad



    For tea you could have:

    *Spaghetti with meatballs served with a crunchy green salad

    *Grilled salmon with boiled potatoes and steamed veg

    *Stir-fry lean beef and mixed veg (peppers, spring onion, pak choi, beansprouts) with finely chopped garlic and ginger, served with egg noodles or whole wheat egg noodles and a splash of soy sauce

    *grilled chicken kebabs with vegetables, some salad and some couscous or potato wedges

    *seasoned chicken in a whole-wheat pita with salad, some couscous (optional) and avacado

    *vegetable burger in a whole wheat bun with 1 hard boiled egg and salad.

    Where can I go for a cheap, big breakfast in London on a Saturday?

    I've got a meeting in London tomorrow but get into London rather early. Was looking for somewhere I could go and have a nice big fry up on the cheap. I know the deep pan pizza company used to do an all you can eat breakfast for about æ‹¢5. Anyone got any better ideas? Name of place, price and location would be great if you could.     Order a pizza the night before. Let it come to room temperature, then wrap it up and refrigerate it. You can have leftover pizza that retains its quality up to 3 or 4 days. After that it is still safe to eat, but it may not be the quality you want.

    I have actually done this because I LOVE cold pizza for breakfast, and as you noted, it is better to eat the bulk of your calories in the morning so you have the day to burn them off

    If you want it warm, put a slice or two (or three) in a large saute pan over medium-low heat and put the lid on. The heat with toast the crust and the steam will melt the cheese.

The pizza would be new york style or chicago and mostly sold by the slice because you can make more money that way and college kids only want a slice or two.     Sounds like a restaurant that would be perfect for a college town. The thing is, you have to keep the prices low because students are generally poor. That mean that in order to make a profit you have to keep your costs down. Keep decorations and electricity at a minimum. Hire students, who really need the money and will accept minimum wage. The location and rent of that location is extremely important. You want it to be close to campus or dorms, where students need food to be fast and affordable. Unfortunately, this is probably where the rent is going to be higher.

    All in all, sounds like a good idea. Don't know if it will make you rich, though. Just plan well before you plunge in.

    Never tried the loaf but I do love cold baked beans on 2 slices of soft white bread, you know, the kind that sticks to your teeth. Now that's a gourmet, stick to your ribs breakfast.
    If you crumble it up small, fry it in a little bacon grease (just enough to warm it up) and serve it with eggs it's almost like having corned beef hash and eggs. I do that all the time and everyone who eats breakfast here loves it, the leftovers are all gone after that!

    That's a really unhealthy breakfast, because the pizza rolls are processed and have chemicals and preservatives added into them and barely any nutrients. Coke is all sugar and caffeine which is terrible as well.

    You should not be starting your day with a breakfast like that.

    You're going to be on a sugar high until about 10 am and then you'll need another pick-me-up.

    I do not think hot sauce is a vegetable.
    Really bad way to get your day started. The pizza rolls are over processed, full of fat and carbs are simple not good for you. Plus you are not getting enough protein The coke is also bad for you nothing but sugar and caffeine. Soda's if they have not already done so will make you fat. Too many "empty" calories that is to say lots of calories and yet no nutrients.



    As for the hot sauce, no, not a vegetable it is considered a condiment that may be made from various vegetables. Peppers, tomatoes plus vinegar and spices.Is pizza rolls and coke a good breakfast? is hot sauce a vegetable?
    I had a really fat friend who used to do that. Sauce is not a vegtable but has some tomato in it i guess. Anyway funny story, my fat friend got fatter and then felt sorry for himself

    My family and I are supposed to bring breakfast for our church next week. We have no idea whatsoever about what to bring. Last time we did, we brought breakfast pizza, but the turnout wasn't that great. There are a lot of elderly people at our church, and they were asking what it was, and they didn't like it too much. So, to avoid that this time, what should we do? We were thinking breakfast casserole, but we aren't sure how to make it, or if it is good for elderly. Today, someone brought a ham there, and a lot of them loved it. We don't really want to bring anything big, just something fun, but also good for older people.Easy breakfast ideas or recipes?

    6 whole Onion Rolls

    1 cup Grated Cheddar Cheese

    8 ounces Cream Cheese

    1-? stick Butter

    10 Eggs

    2 cups Milk

    1 teaspoon Chopped Chives

    ? teaspoons Dry Mustard

    ? teaspoons Salt

    1 dash Cayenne Pepper



    Generously butter an 9×13 baking dish.



    Tear onion rolls into chunks and place them in the bottom of the baking dish. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese, then tear cream cheese into small pieces and place over the top. Cut 1 ? sticks butter into pats and place over the top.



    Mix remaining ingredients and pour over the top of the dish. Cover and refrigerate overnight.



    The next morning, bake at 325 degrees, covered, for 45 minutes. Then remove foil and continue baking at 350 for 10-15 minutes.



    Easy to make and tastes great...

    A lot of older people have digestion problems so if they eat anything too spicy or greasy they suffer for it later. Why don't you buy a couple of melons like honeydew and cantaloupe and slice it up and put it on a platter and add some red grapes and sliced watermelon and bring that with a loaf or two of raisin toast to go with that?     Maybe try and make you meals more fancy by cooking scrammbled eggs, good traditional fry ups ect.



    Too use ham - Lay beds of rocets leaves on a plate ( I know thats you don't usually add salad at breakfast but this works! (:) then poach some eggs lay then on top then on top of the poached eggs you could either add - bacon, grilled tomotos, smalls pieces of toast ect.

    Blueberry breakfast bake.

    You'll need Blueberries,8 slices of white bread in 1" pieces, 1 pack of cream cheese cubed, 8 eggs, 1 1/2 c of milk. Grease 11x7 pan. spread half bread, then cream cheese, then blueberries, top with bread. beat eggs and milk in bowl then pour over bread. heat oven to 350. Cover and bake 30 min. uncover and bake 25 to 30 min until puffed up in center. serve with blueberry syrup. This is easy and not an everyday dish. It will wow and you will hear yum.
    Overnight French Toast



    Tuck squares of bread cut into triangles down one side of a 9 x 13 baking dish, and more bread down the other side stacked in the other direction, then one more row down the middle and pour a custard of cream, eggs, cinnamon and vanilla over top. Wrap with foil and refrigerate overnight. The next day, pop the wrapped dish in a 375 oven for 45 minutes until puffed and golden.



    Serve with butter and syrup and/or raspberry sauce (thawed raspberries pushed through a sieve, sweetened with simple syrup and spiced with fresh lime juice)

    What about a fritatta. It combines Ham, eggs and bread (basics). My Mom made these all the time for brunches for her friends and she was 76 when she passed away.

    You could also do a ham and cheese spoonbread. I got the recipe from epicurious.com, and I still make it to this day. One pan should make 9 small squares which is perfect for elderly since they tend to not eat much. I'm going from memory here, but you can always look it up on epicurious to confirm it.



    1-1/4 cup instant grits

    1 cup boiling water

    --Combine and stir, let sit for 5 minutes.

    1 cup shredded cheddar

    2 Tbsp. butter

    --Stir that in well.

    Add in about 1/2 cup of diced ham or diced deli ham slices, 2 or 3 eggs, and a pinch of pepper and cayenne.



    Pour it into a greased/sprayed 8x8 baking dish and bake at 425F for about 20 minutes.
    A breakfast casserole is like a bread pudding



    you line a greased casserole dish with pieces of bread

    whip up an egg and milk mixture (with salt, pepper etc.)

    pour it over the bread

    put sausage and cheese and veggies, whatever you want over the top

    leave it in the fridge overnight

    and bake it in the oven until it's all cooked and fluffy the next morning



    it's really good



    You could also make scotch eggs (hard-boiled eggs wrapped in sausage, rolled in breadcrumbs and deep fried)



    or a hash with home fries, sausage, scrambled eggs, peppers, onions and mushrooms all mixed together



    You could turn the breakfast casserole into a stuffed french toast casserole by putting cream cheese and jelly between two pieces of bread and pouring the egg mixture (with a little vanilla extract added) over the top, letting it sit overnight and then baking it (you could decorate the top with powdered sugar and fresh berries).
